Update on the Repatriation of South African Citizens in the United States

The South African Embassy and its Consulates in the United States wish to advise Citizens as follows:
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation and the relevant Government
Departments are confirming the personal details of all South Africans for the
repatriation flights scheduled. Please see below the confirmed flight information and take note
these are the only and last repatriation flights that will be facilitated by the Embassy of South
Africa in Washington, DC.

DUE DATE FOR PAYMENT ON 30 APRIL 2020, 12h00 ET.
All payments should be made directly to the account of South African Airways, please use the PASSENGER FULL NAME as the reference. You are advised to send your proof of payment and a copy of the biometric page of your passport to MsizaS@dirco.gov.za and MolekoF@dirco.gov.za.

Once your payment and proof thereof have been processed, SAA will issue you with your ticket and your date of departure to your email address. Please note that seats will be reserved on a first come, first pay basis.
SAA will only accept South African bank issued bank credit card(s) or a bank wire transfer for payment of tickets. No cash payment will be accepted on the day of departure.
NOTE: Passengers already in possession of a SAA flight ticket are advised to contact SAA directly to use their ticket as partial credit towards this flight; please have your e-ticket number on hand.
